We live hospitality for up to 60 years by now. We are a family owned pension in Krumpendorf, 100 meters beside the lake Wörthersee. There´s a parking lot available in front of the building.

A three minute walk will take you to the public lake beach, which is one of Austria`s best kept
grounds of its kind. The entrance-fee is reasonable. You will find well kept grounds to lie upon, clean bathrooms, a restaurant and a good infrastructure for sports like Beach Volleyball, Bowls, Table Tennis, Water Skiing, Wake Boarding and more. The area offers a children´s playground and a protected area for children and non swimmers in the lake. You might also jump right into it from the 3 meter high diving platform. Supermarkets, coffee shops, bars and restaurants, shops, banks, a pharmacy, a tennis court and a mini golf ground make the peaceful area well equipped for holiday makers. Bikes and also E-bikes can be rented right in front of the beach. You can go around the 20 kilometer long and 2 kilometer wide lake on protected trails. They lead from the capital Klagenfurt on the east side of the lake to the village Velden on the west side of it, where you can try your lock in the Casino. No worries. Even if you do not want to stay at the beach all the time you sure won´t get bored.

Purity and freshness that convince: We serve products of local farmers, and a wide variety of delicious pastry, coffee (Lavazza) and tea specialities. Because we know that some of our guests prefer to lie in longer on their holidays we serve breakfast from 8 to 10.30 and earlier on request.

At your disposal within the house we have:

a library with some board games and also some books in English,

our garden with a soft lawn, a swing for children,

a private parking lot in front of the house and a roof topped, locked stall for bikes.

We offer free transfer from and to the railway station in Krumpendorf. There is a taxi-transfer to the airport Klagenfurt (at a 10 km distance from us).

We also have two daily newspapers, which might not be of much interest to you since you read our homepage in English: The Kleine Zeitung & The Kärntner Krone.
